Hello All!
The Wharton Club warmly invites readers of the Carl Kruse Arts Blog to a private preview of Sensing Fields on the evening before its official opening at Gallery Max Goelitz.
This special gathering offers an early introduction to a new exhibition project by Max Goelitz, inaugurated with a solo presentation by James Turrell, one of the most influential artists of our time. Since the 1960s, Turrell has explored light as a material, shaping spaces that heighten perception and unfold through quiet, durational experience.
The presentation, realized in close partnership with Häusler Contemporary Zurich, includes a rare work from Turrell’s Glass series, shown for the first time in Berlin within a precisely reconfigured architectural setting.
Max Goelitz is a contemporary art gallery based in Munich and Berlin. It presents both established and emerging international artists, with a strong emphasis on abstraction, conceptual art, light, perception, systems, and material experimentation.
